Rostocker, Benjamin

Son of David and Clara. He was a member of the “Hatzofim” movement and was a member of the “ORT” vocational high school in Givatayim. His friends were very fond of him and respected him because he was a true friend, a loyal friend, a pure friend and a heartbreaker, and he was an outstanding athlete who played in the ranks of the Hapoel Bnei Brak basketball team, In his short way of life, he stood out as an honest, well-informed and educated young man, and before his enlistment he studied at the Technical School of the Air Force in Haifa and was trained as a technician In February 1969 he was drafted into the IDF and volunteered for the Air Force. On the 22nd of Sivan 5769 (June 6, 1969), only four months later, he died in the line of duty. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
