Rosenzweig, Leah (Louise)
Daughter of Necha (Nechama) and Nahum Natan, was born in 1927 in Paris, the capital of France. After graduating from high school and nursing school, she began to work as a nurse. Lea volunteered for army service and came to Israel in April 1948 on an immigrant ship from abroad, first serving in the medical service during the battles in Jerusalem and later as a nurse with the rank of sergeant in one of the Palmach battalions. On the 12th of Tevet 5709 (12.1.1949), during a visit to relatives in Tel Aviv on the occasion of her vacation, she died of a stroke. She was laid to rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak Military Cemetery.
