Rosenthal, Reuven

Son of Moritz and Frida. He was born on February 16, 1927 in Kassel, Germany, where he attended the Jewish elementary school. He also joined the Habonim youth movement. With the rise of Hitler, he was expelled from school and forced to work hard. His father perished in a concentration camp in Auschwitz. He himself was sent to Lena concentration camp. After his release from this camp he decided to immigrate to Israel; He enlisted there and a week later came to the shores of the homeland. On 30.7.1949) died and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
