Son of Leah and Shlomo. He was born on 3 December 1919 in Kharkov, Ukraine, and in 1921 he immigrated to Eretz Israel with his grandmother and grandfather, and spent his childhood in Tel Aviv, where he graduated from the Alliance elementary school. In the agricultural school he absorbed the values ​​of the labor movement, and at the end of his studies he accepted the call of Kibbutz Ginossar and joined with six of his friends, who soon became involved in kibbutz life and work. There was a great deal of dedication, with the increase in the bloody events of the years 1936-1939, with the establishment of the Special Night Squads (SMS). In 1939 he was sent by the kibbutz to serve as a driver in Sodom, and after a period of time was also appointed to the secretariat of the workers’ council in the area, and returned to his kibbutz two years later to drive a truck In the ranks of the Hagana. He also served as a security guard in the Lower Galilee and was one of the founders of the Field Force in the district. On 14 Tevet, December 22, 1942, while serving in the Ginossar-Kaduri route, he was killed in a road accident. He was laid to rest in the Ginossar cemetery. The kibbutz issued a booklet in his memory.
