Rosengarten, Ilan
Son of Esther and Moshe. He was born on March 16, 1969, in Moshav Liman, near Nahariya. Old-age son of his parents, Holocaust survivors. Ilan studied at the Weizmann elementary school in Nahariya and continued his studies at the Amal High School. He was a lively, talented, handsome and pleasant child, who acquired many friends with surprising ease and thanks to his spirit of volunteerism, his help and devotion to others became a natural leader in society and many girls sought his closeness. Despite his great social success, he was modest in his demands and was deterred by ostentation. Ilan was brought up to the love of man and the homeland. His relations with his family were warm and very close. As a moshav, he also worked in the agricultural farm and helped his family. Aside from his love for people, he was also an animal lover and knew how to grow and nurture them. Ilan was drafted into the army in October 1987 and was assigned to serve in the Armored Corps, overcoming the difficulties of initial adjustment and integrating successfully into the IDF. 1988), in an operational accident during a tank commander course and was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Nahariya.
