Son of Ernst and Raizy (Ava). He was born on the 3rd of Sivan (June 3, 1955) in Sibiu, Romania. Immigrated to Israel with his family in 1961. Kalman attended the Netzach Israel elementary school in Petah Tikva. He continued to graduate from the YH Brenner High School, and was an excellent and diligent student, with the patience to learn and to achieve the best he could. In his high school studies. Kalman was a friendly and kind boy who was always willing to help and support his friends. He was very gentle, dedicated, devoted to others and a serious relationship with all of them, but he was very Simcha with life, never quarreled with anyone, and always knew how to give in to the weak. Used to get angry, did not complain to others, and always knew how to contribute his part. He was one of the pillars of the educator’s hour. He was familiar with all the social problems, especially Israel’s security problems. Kalman was the head of the volunteers to deal with the subject of the educator’s time. Kalman was a modest, quiet, pleasant, welcoming young man. His smile, the proper word he said at the moment of pleasure fit well into the society, and he took a little moderation and a little bit of deliberation on it. It was clear to us, the teachers, that his words were heard in the group because he was responsible and prudent and that his friends appreciated his special nature. “Kalman stood out for the respect he shared with his parents and he helped them a lot.was always open to his friends, Akiva spent his spare time in sports, and from a young age he spent many hours on the soccer field, and Kalman was drafted into the IDF in November 1973 and placed in the air force. After completing basic training, he completed an anti-aircraft course and other professional courses, and during the course of his service, Kalman excelled in all subjects and in the last course he received, Served in the IDF. In this chapter the time grew and became serious. But when he came home he tried to be as cheerful as ever. As a guide he knew how to buy the hearts of the soldiers and won their sympathetic attitude. As two of his apprentices testify: “He was one of the best instructors on the staff, and everyone in the course liked him very much.” On July 12, 1974, Kalman fell while serving in the center of the country. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Petah Tikva. Survived by his parents and brother.
