Rosenfeld (Jacobi), Asher


Son of Yaffa and Pinchas. Born in 1914 in Radzyn-Podolsk, Poland, he was born to a poor family and moved to Warsaw to work there, and he was a young boy full of hope and life-long happiness. During the 1936 riots, when he worked in the city, he moved with his family to Nes Ziona and enlisted as a guard in the orchards of the settlement with a shotgun for his job. On the 21st of Av, 7.8.1936, during a guard duty in one of the orchards, he was shot and killed by gang members. He was twenty-two when he fell. His name was immortalized in the books “Blood and Fire” and “Events of 1936-1937”.
