Rosenberg, Shlomo


Son of Tzippora and Ze’ev, was born in the city of Vyshilvy in Transylvania, Romania, in 1940. In 1940, the area was returned to Hungarian rule and the Jews were transferred to extermination camps, with the exception of a sister and two surviving brothers who immigrated to Israel Was transferred to a labor camp in Germany and liberated by the American army, he immigrated to Israel on November 28, 1945, and received training and education in the Youth Aliyah Society in the village of Szold, where he worked as a laborer until his enlistment. He was allowed to go to full service and was attached to one of the Palmach regiments and Nash Bless the reinforcements to help the Yad Mordechai defenders. Where he fell during the great attack on the kibbutz on the 11th of Iyar 5708 (May 20, 1948). He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery at Yad Mordechai.
