Son of Sarah and Monia. Born in Batum, Russia, March 16, 1918. His father immigrated to Israel alone in 1920, and a year later his family joined him, and the family lived in Jerusalem in a joint home with the family of Eliezer son of-Yehuda. After a few years, when he was about ten years old, his family moved to Tel Aviv, where he moved to Tel Aviv, where he studied at the children’s education center and later moved to the Mikveh Israel Agricultural School. , But he had a rich imagination, organizational ability and was also a prominent prank in his friends during his studies at Mikvah Israel He joined the Hashomer Hatzair movement and later served as a counselor in the battalion After completing his studies at the agricultural school, he was one of the founders of Kibbutz Hashomer Hatzair in Rishon Letzion, and among the first members of the kibbutz who went to settle in Hatzor, During his free time he wrote poems and various lists, and his play “The Cricket and the Ants” was presented by members of the kibbutz. His writings were published occasionally in the newspaper Al Hamishmar. On the 14th of Av 5747 (14.8.1947) my son traveled with several other people in a pickup truck to the meeting of the Haganah headquarters in Tel Aviv. When they reached the village of Abu Kabir, on the southern outskirts of Tel Aviv, the truck encountered Arab roadblocks and was attacked by gunfire. The van rolled into the ditch and my son, who burst out, was hit in the head. He was taken to the hospital where he died of his wounds. He was laid to rest in his kibbutz Hatzor. He left a wife, a son, and a daughter. After his death, his poems were collected in two files published by the Workers’ Library: “At the End of the Day” and “Before Tal”. The songs expressed the love of the land, the minutes of the soul and the sharpness of the observation of everything around him.
