Ben Aviva and Rafael. He was born on April 29, 1972 in Tel Aviv. His nickname for relatives and friends was ‘Amiro’. Old son of his family. He spent his early childhood in Tel Aviv. On his fourth birthday, the family went on a mission to Tehran. When she returned to Israel, the family moved to Tel Aviv from Rishon Letzion and Amir began his studies at the Yadlin Elementary School, then went on to the Dorot Junior High School and then to the Carrey High School of Physical Sciences. He was always quiet, modest, smiling and friendly, and was always surrounded by friends and activists, active in the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed movement, first as an apprentice and later as a guide. And apart from an acoustic and electric guitar, and his friends and children in the youth movement felt a great admiration for him and saw him as a beloved and admired masterpiece A. Amir was conscripted in October 1990 as part of the Nahal Brigade, which was intended for Kfar Aza, but when he reached the time of his enlistment, he left the nucleus and volunteered for a Naval Officers course. He served in the Navy for about a year, but eventually decided to join a Nahal reconnaissance company, and he returned with his new unit, some of the basic training, and after that he joined the team and served for a period of time. On 25 June 1992, Amir fell in battle with a group of five armed terrorists from the village of Arava near Jenin and was brought to eternal rest in the Kiryat Shaul cemetery. Survived by his parents, sister – Orna and two brothers – Eyal and Alon, and was promoted to corporal after his fall. In a letter of condolence to the bereaved family, the commander of the unit wrote that Amir was a beloved friend of all those around him in terms of his military skills, showed a high level of professionalism, responsibility, adherence to the mission and discipline. He proved his fitness for command and was scheduled to leave for an officer’s course. Two memorial booklets were published in his memory. One was prepared by his friends and students at the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed youth movement in Rishon Letzion and the other was initiated by Amir’s family.
