Rosenberg, Aharon
He was active in the Zionist youth movement and in 1939 he immigrated to Eretz Israel with Youth Aliya and was absorbed in Beer Tuvia. The handsome young man quickly adapted to the language and agricultural work. With the first Palmach volunteers, he continued to maintain close ties with the village that was his home. He longed for the work of the land, which he loved, and wanted to own a farm in the village. With the outbreak of World War II, Aaron volunteered for the British army. Here, too, he excelled among his fellow soldiers in his quiet and comfortable nature, in his willingness to offer help and devotion. On 29 Sivan, June 10, 1945, Aharon died in a car accident in Milan, Italy, where he was laid to rest. The chapters of his life are written in the book “In Memory of Them” published by Moshav Beer Tuvia.
