At the end of his regular service he was called for periods of active reserve duty in his unit as commander of the Armash squad, and during his high studies he joined the Ampa company and worked in it in the accounting department. On October 24, 1973, during the battle for the city of Suez, Meir was killed and killed in the city, while attempting to evacuate a damaged vehicle and was brought to rest in the Kiryat Shaul cemetery, leaving a wife, Esther, A seagull, a gull and a kite, and was promoted to the rank of sergeant in a letter of condolence to the bereaved family.
