Rosen, Zvi


He was born in 1917 in Poland and immigrated to Eretz Israel in 1935. Upon the outbreak of the Second World War, he enlisted in the British Army and was assigned to the Air Force in a technical position, serving in Egypt. On 12 Adar (11.3.1941), he was at a soldiers’ club in Alexandria, and was accidentally shot and killed by a soldier. He was laid to rest in the British military cemetery in Alexandria, Egypt, and was immortalized in the Yizkor book of the Jabotinsky Institute.
