Ronen (Rozansky) Doron


Son of Moshe and Zahava. Born in Haifa on 23.10.1952, he studied at the “Aliya” elementary school and at the vocational high school of the Naharayim Electric Company in Haifa, and was a talented and persistent student. He was quiet and serious, consistent in his actions and responsible for his actions. He was a member of the Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed youth movement in Daughter of Galim and participated in all the activities of the nest, and he loved music and his youth joined the Haifa Municipal Orchestra. He was a loyal and loyal son of his parents, and as they testify, he was very devoted to his brother and not to his parents. After graduating from high school in the year he remained until his enlistment in the IDF, Doron began working for the Electric Company in Haifa. Doron was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in February 1971. After completing his basic training, he was sent to an armament unit where he served until his death. At the end of his regular service, he volunteered for the career army for three years. In 1975, he married Haya and set up his home in Haifa on May 7, 1976. Doron was killed while serving in the military cemetery in Haifa, leaving behind his parents, brother and sister. His commander wrote: “Doron was one of the pillars of the unit. I knew him as one of the brightest and most dedicated officers in the company. His diligent work and encouraging smile contributed greatly to raising the level of his subordinates and commanders, and represented the unit with respect in his contacts with other units and contributed greatly to raising its prestige. Doron will serve as an example of dedication, diligence and personal attention. “
