Ben Leah and Max, was born on October 27, 1943, in Kiryat Ata. Ilan was conscripted into the IDF in July 1961, and he joined the IDF B. In the IAF. In the army he attained the rank of major. Ilan fell during his service on Tu B’Av 5739 (August 8, 1979), and was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He was 35 years old when he fell. Ilan left a wife, two daughters, a parents and a sister. “
