Son of Shimon and Ahuva. He was born on March 29, 1948 in Tel Aviv. Yishai attended the AD Gordon elementary school in Givatayim and continued at the kibbutz high school in Kibbutz Na’an, where he spent many days in the laboratory of chemistry and physics in search, discovery and experimentation, and was always ready to help anyone who had a problem with it. On the thirtieth day of Yishai’s downfall, the family initiated a fund in his memory, “The Memorial Fund for Deputy Yishai Ron”. The Foundation holds a Bible Circle, which is a regular part of the Bible Research Society and takes place every two weeks at the family home.The fall of Yishai, a series of seminars are held at the Tel Aviv University, in which educators and youth discuss the questions of Israeli Jewry. The lectures and discussions are published in the collections “The Israeli as a Jew”.
