Ben Attie and Sergio. My son was born in Haifa on the 5th of Cheshvan 5706 (1/11/1954) On February 4, 1973, my son enlisted in the IDF for the Intelligence Corps. In 1975, after completing compulsory service, he continued to serve in the Intelligence Corps. He served for more than thirty years, until his death. My son married Ruth. The couple lived in Haifa with their two children – Tomer and Shira. Benny fell in the line of duty on July 16, 2005, after a serious illness at the age of fifty-one in his death, and he was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa, leaving a wife, son, daughter and mother. The family wrote: “Where are there other people like that man? To remember, to miss, to love. “
