Ron (Bisraglik), Michael


Son of Nathan and Bracha. He was born on the 29th of Tishrei, October 15, 1936, in Jerusalem. He studied at several elementary schools in the capital until the family moved to Tel Aviv, where he graduated from the Tel Nordoi School. When he went to visit the airport club in Tel Aviv, he became interested in this industry, and was brought to the Max Payne Professional School, where he specialized in aircraft mechanics. He became a pilot. In June 1954, he was drafted into the IDF, and served in the air force. He reached the rank of captain. He fell in the course of his duty on the 20th of Cheshvan, November 10, 1960 and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. His squadron commander described him as having “willpower, intelligence, comradeship and humility … He was able to do the impossible”. At the Tel Hashomer Hospital, the” Micha Room” was established in his memory. The Tel Hashomer Hospital, and his parents published a book, in his memory, describing him, and also, in his memory, his attributes were included in the book “Out of Our Outcomes” published by his parents, together with the management of the Tel Nordoi School.
