Rollo, Eliyahu


Son of Victor and Susan. Was born on September 8, 1950 in Cairo, Egypt, and immigrated with his family to Israel in 1953. He attended the “Hashachar” elementary school in Tel Aviv. Later, when he was living in the Netherlands, he attended the National High School. In the Netherlands he was a member of a swimming club and served as a youth swimming instructor. He also liked other sports and played football. He was a pleasant fellow, a loyal son to his parents and a good friend and devoted to his many acquaintances. He was loved by people, disciplined and responsible. He was drafted into the IDF in mid-November 1968 and assigned to the Armored Corps on July 10, 1970. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
