Rokach, Eliezer


Was born on 8 August 1924 in the city of Brno, Czechoslovakia, where he was transferred to a concentration camp, where he was interned in the Theresienstadt and Auschwitz concentration camps. He joined the “Biriya” ship in July 1946. He was assigned to work in a British military camp as a mechanic in the cinema and continued to work until the outbreak of the War of Independence. Was killed on Tuesday (July 10, 1948) with all his classmates during the Syrian attack on an outpost during Operation Brosh to destroy the Syrian bridgehead in the Mishmar Hayarden area. Was brought to rest in a grave in the military cemetery in Rosh Pina.
