Roi Nissim

Roi, son of Yaffa and Aaron Nissim, was born in Be’er Sheva in 1984. On March 24, 2003, Roi enlisted in the IDF in the Givati ​​Regiment of Battalion 435. After six months of training, Roi was sent to a squad commanders’ course and completed with great success. In January 2004, Roi began his first career as a military commander. First Sergeant Roi Nissim fell in battle in the Gaza Strip on June 27, 2004. Roi, aged 19 and a half, was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Rishon Letzion. He was survived by parents and two sisters.
