Roi Klein

Roi, son of Shoshana and Aharon Klein, was born in Ra’anana on July 10, 1975. After the withdrawal from Lebanon Roi moved to the position of company commander. In the early days of the Second Lebanon War, the 51st Battalion was active in the south following the abduction of Gilad Shalit. On 1 Av, July 26, 2006, Major Roi Klein fell in a battle in Bint Jbeil in southern Lebanon. With him fell another seven of his soldiers. He was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem, on his thirty-first birthday. Ro’i left behind a wife, two sons, two parents and two sisters.
