Rofeh, Tomer
Ben-Marie and Amnon. Was born in Haifa on 13.4.1979 exactly two years after his brother Guy was born on the same date. Tomer grew up and was educated in Haifa. He spent the first two years of his studies at the Be’eri elementary school, and from the third grade until the completion of his primary education he studied at the Zichron Yaakov school in the mansion. He completed his high school studies at Ironi Hashem School. Tomer was a ballet in every place and society, not only in his 195 cm (cm) height, and in his exceptional beauty, but also in his kindness and wonderful kindness, which made him the leader and the most beloved in every society he encountered. He always knew how to ‘give of himself’ and share with each one what was his own. He always made sure that he had another child he “adopted” with the family – a friend who had been with the family for short periods – they were always friends who wanted to give them the family warmth that prevailed in his home. Tomer had a special relationship with his oldest and only brother, Guy, whom he always called “a human being.” Tomer loved life. He painted, sculpted wood, listened to music and played the guitar, and especially liked the sea, in any situation, and spent long hours surfing. In March 1998, Tomer joined the IDF and was assigned to the Armored Corps. On February 12, 2000, Tomer was killed in a road accident while on his way home from the base where he served at the age of 20. Tomer was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Haifa, Songs and short stories were discovered in a letter sent to the family by the commander of the unit: “… Tomer served in my unit against maintenance for about five months. He carried out his duties with dedication and diligence, invested heavily in his position, and demonstrated high self-discipline. Tomer stood out with his smile and was admired by his commanders and his comrades in the unit. For ever, Tomer will be part of the ‘Nesher’ design. “
