Rodovsky, Yosef
Son of Hanan and Tova. He was born on November 30, 1933 in Jerusalem. His father was a farmer in principle and even took care of the library. Seven elementary school classes ended in Ekron and the eighth in Mizrachi school in Bnei Brak. He spent one year studying at a training center in Givat Zeid, and then completed his studies in private, unable to continue his regular studies. He was a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement. For a while he worked as a locksmith and later as a builder. He was modest and humble, and was Simcha and pleased with the opportunity he was given to continue his studies when he joined the IDF at the age of seventeen (April 1951). After completing his years in the air force, he decided to continue with a lieutenant colonel and thought that one day he would find the possibility of a civilian pilot. He kept supporting his widowed mother. On the 29th of Kislev 5707 (29.11.1955) he fell in the line of duty and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
