Rimon Cohen

Sergeant Major Rimon Cohen, son of Orna and Eliyahu Baruch. Rimon was born on 8 August 1989 in Tel Aviv along with his twin brother Shoshan who is younger than him. After his studies Rimon, a resident of Rehovot, enlisted in the IDF and served as a combat medic. On November 4, 2008, he was drafted to reserve duty in the Engineering Corps’ bomb disposal unit at the training base at Tze’elim in the Negev. Sergeant Rimon Cohen fell during his duties on November 6th, 2018. He was twenty-nine when he fell. He was laid to rest in the Rehovot military cemetery and is survived by a mother and two brothers.
