Reifman, David

David, son of Sara and Levi Reifman, was born in 1930 in Jerusalem. After his father’s death, he was forced to leave his studies in order to support his family. At the outbreak of the War of Independence, he served in the area between Gush Etzion and Jerusalem. On the 28th of Kisleiv (11.12.1947), he fell in the line of duty when a convoy he was part of, that brought food to the people of Kfar Etzion, was attacked by the Arab forces. David was laid to rest in the military cemetery on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem.
