Reicher, Shlomo
Son of Yitzhak and Bella. He was born on February 4, 1929 in the city of Berald, Romania. He completed his studies in an elementary school, then attended a maritime school in Italy and finally immigrated to Israel in 1947 on an illegal immigration ship. He tended to painting and had a literary imagination. He participated in the War of Independence and was wounded in it. He was very popular with all his subordinates, who served as a model for his complete willingness to accept every command and carry out every mission in a worn-out manner. And during the Sinai Campaign he served as a combat commander, while on duty on the 5th of Tammuz 5758 (23.6.1958) he fell and was brought to rest at the military cemetery in Tel Mond. He left a wife and two children.
