Reese-Zismer, Chava
Daughter of Fruma and Yaakov, was born on July 18, 1919 in Tel Aviv, attended the “Talpiot” school and the “Balfour” Gymnasium in Tel Aviv, and was then admitted to the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem where she was certified As a nurse and a midwife, she worked in Hadassah Hospital on Mount Scopus, and with great love offered help to the sick and to maternity (especially in the slums of Jerusalem) and in her work she felt a duty of respect for herself. And she was taken into consideration – a quality of soul that she brought with her from her father’s house – and she did so in all her ways at home, at school, in the hospital and in the Haganah. She was a nurse in Hadassah Hospital and was a physician in the Old City on May 27, 1948, the day before the fall of the Old City, when she went to fill She was buried in Sheik Badar A.
