Son of Bracha-Brunia and Fishel was born in March 1927 in Karkur. After graduating cum laude from the elementary school in the village he began studying at the agricultural high school in Pardes Hannah. Due to the poor financial situation of the family, he stopped his studies and began to work. During the rest hours, he organized the Hapoel branch in Karkur and was a member of a Hapoel soccer team. Was active in the youth in the colony, organized various games and established a soccer team for the children of the colony. Haim decided to study a profession and moved to Tel Aviv, where he studied regrets. In the city, he joined the Haganah and completed various courses for his military training. With the outbreak of the War of Independence, he enlisted and served in the Alexandroni Brigade. Participated in the battle for Arab Kfar Saba. He participated in the conquest of Tantura, in the Battle of Kakun, the Pocket of Falluja and Iraq of Al-Manshiyya, and was a soft man by nature, deeply moved in every case of the fall of a friend. Discipline in pleasant words, sometimes by joke, despite his young age, he succeeded in the role of sergeant of a platoon whose members were older than him.In Operation Horev, a “liquidation” operation was carried out against the “Faluja pocket” in which an Egyptian brigade was besieged. On the eastern flank of the “pocket” in the area of Iraq al-Manshiyya, the Alexandroni forces broke into the village from the south and took over part of it, but their assault on the hill north of the village was repulsed. The Egyptians attacked and forced our forces to retreat, and some of the force was captured in the village, and on that day it fell on December 28, 1948. He was buried in Faluja on the day of Kislev 5712 (8.12). 1949) was transferred to eternal rest in the Nahalat Yitzhak Military Cemetery.
