Son of Ezra and Esther. Born in 1950 in Baghdad, he immigrated to Israel with his family in 1951. He studied at the Kiryat Amal elementary school in Kiryat Tivon and completed his studies at the Nesher vocational high school with a specialization in mechanics and frameworks. When Nissim immigrated to Israel with his parents, the family sat in the Kiryat Amal transit camp, and despite the difficult living conditions in the place, Nissim’s education was based on values ​​of decency and purity, and especially on the value of the family in human life. “In early elementary school, the family moved to Kiryat Tivon, where he was diligent and diligent and took an active part in the social life of the school and of the youth movement” Hanoar Haoved Vehalomed “. Nissim also loved sports and was a member of his team’s basketball team at Kibbutz Mishmar David, where he spent nearly three years, and was also active in the theater department of his kibbutz and Kiryat Tivon, and was also a nature lover and backpacker. He was a member of the parachute jump team and a member of the skydiving club, and as a boy he used to gather paratroopers’ parachutes and parachutes and even ads calling on young people to volunteer for the paratroopers. All of these were concentrated in a special album that was meticulously cultivated and cultivated. He also ‘practiced’ in the jump in the Omega he set up with his friends. The jump took a very important place in Nissim’s world. In preparation for the draft, he was able to “evade” the examinations he had conducted in an IDF school that wanted to recruit the students who were about to be drafted into the army during their service. He began his military service as part of the Nahal Brigade, then was transferred to the infantry and completed a course in mortar-fighting and a parachuting course. In 1970, he was sent to a parachuting instructors’ course and after completing a great success began to teach at the parachuting school. Nissim was an exemplary guide and devoted to the task with all his might. His love of parachuting, which was his lifelong love, stood behind his wonderful work as a guide. He spared no effort, invested all his energy and energy to teach and establish a new and young generation of mentors. At the end of his service he returned to his friends at Kibbutz Mishmar David. He married a wife, and after much deliberation the two decided to leave the kibbutz and move to Hadera. Where their son was born. After a while they moved to Kiryat Tivon. All the while, Nissim had not abandoned the jump. With the permission of his commanders, he would come to the parachute school and fall for his pleasure. During his service in the reserves he took part in the Yom Kippur War. Nissim found it difficult to integrate into the city’s life, and together with his wife, he reached the conclusion that he was in the permanent army. The family moved to Rishon Letzion and Nissim returned to his favorite occupation – a parachuting instructor in the Israel Defense Forces – on the 17th of Av 5737 (1.8.1977), while he was serving in the center of the country, was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Tivon. He was followed by a wife, son, parents and brother, who was promoted to the rank of major sergeant. His family donated a curtain and memorial plaque to the synagogue in the Katamonim neighborhood of Jerusalem to commemorate him
