Razmshev (Nachshoni), Chaim-Yehoshua
Chaim-Yehoshua, son of Rivka and Meir-Zvi, was born on the 21st of Tishrei 5711 (October 2, 1950) in Jerusalem. In 1961, he moved to Bnei Brak, where he continued his elementary studies at the religious Talmud Torah Center. Chaim was among the outstanding students and won excellent grades and many prizes. Chaim was drafted into the Israel Defense Forces in mid-November 1968 and was assigned to the Armored Corps, where he completed a tank training course, a tank artillery course and a course for instructors, completing his compulsory service in mid-November 1971. An excellent guide and knowledgeable in his profession. He did his job in a good and effective way. In the Yom Kippur War, Chaim served as a lieutenant in the Armored Corps unit on the southern front, and on October 16, 1973, in fierce battles for the breach of the bridgehead to the west bank of the Suez Canal, during the battle his tank was hit and Chaim fell. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. Survived by his parents and three brothers. After his fall, he was promoted to First Sergeant.
