Raviv, Ariel

Ben Pult-Dafna and Asher. He was born on October 13, 1981 in Jerusalem. Brother to Avishai, Michal, Hanan and Yair. Ariel was born and raised in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, between the walls. He studied at the Achinoam Elementary School in the Jewish Quarter, went on to a junior high school in the Horev yeshiva in Jerusalem and completed high school studies at the yeshiva high school in Beit El. Ariel was a smiling baby, who grew up as a naughty boy with a permanent smile on his face. As the eyes grew older, the eyes did not stop smiling, a sincere, sincere smile that occasionally gave way to a lively, rolling laugh. Ariel was a member of the Bnei Akiva youth movement and participated in seminars and meetings between secular and religious Jews. He loved traveling around the country – in the mountains, streams and valleys, especially in the Golan Heights. He knew all the places well and knew the names of mountains and streams beautifully. He was always surrounded by friends, with whom he liked to travel and have fun. From time to time he wrote poems, to friends and mainly to a drawer, or played the guitar for his own enjoyment. Ariel showed a strong tendency to sports and especially attracted to football and basketball. His father tells of his knowledge of games and names of the actors to the extent that he was called “a sort of walking sports encyclopedia.” Ariel gave up on a proposal to play in the Betar Jerusalem youth team to avoid desecrating the Sabbath, and Ariel and the enchantment grew up in their years of adolescence, and the combination of studies, friends, family, sports and countless trips throughout the country, which he loved so well and contributed to his design and education. After completing his high school studies, Ariel moved to the Nokdim military academy where he studied for a year and a quarter and prepared himself for the army. His father and brothers served in the Nahal Brigade, and Ariel continued the tradition and volunteered for Nahal. He was very motivated and wanted to contribute and influence basic training, and from the beginning of the track he demonstrated his modest presence and was able to unite and form his teammates. He was trained in the course of combat medics, a course he successfully completed, and from the very beginning of his military service he aspired to become a commander in the Nahal Brigade and to command a new generation of fighters. “On May 8, 2001, Ari’el fell in the line of duty at the age of 19. He was killed in a training accident near Tel Arad While Ariel was accidentally shot by a force that was used as a “marker” for the attacking force, and was laid to rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl, Jerusalem, where he was survived by his parents, three brothers and a sister. A corporal, Ariel fell near the Shavuot holiday and at the end of the shiva, his parents decided to hold a memorial service every night at their home, The book, to which you go, with three goals: First goal – the book of Ruth decorated and illustrated by artist Shuki Freiman, a second gate – Studies in the Book of Ruth from rabbis and academics, Part III – Family and friends tell of Ariel. Michal and Avishai, Ariel’s brother and sister: “We knew so much, so much we loved, so much we knew, but we did not know the power. Your power for life, your strength for the love of the land and the trips. Your true and true faith in each of us, so many stories we have heard from friends, with one common denominator to you – love, true love, no limits, no slag, you have given yourself not to accept.Well, to your family, friends and everyone you know. The occupying smile, which allows every barrier and opens every door, the smiling eyes that always convey peace of mind, the shy laugh at the corner of the mouth, dissolving all material. “From my personal acquaintance with you, I managed to build a small monument for myself, composed of all the calmness, all the innocence, all the peace of mind and all the love that was in you. Sometimes, when I looked at you at a class, I would enjoy seeing that there are people who really resemble angels in their peace of mind. “A friend of the army wrote:” You were an example to the environment, your heart overflowed and flooded us with kindness. And hard, it’s hard to say hello to a friend who was always willing to help. Aviel, a member of the Nokdim program, said: “There was so much love and joy to you that even if you did not do anything, it would radiate from you and affect your environment … a major trait that I “I remember that we would jump on him and tickle him so that he would laugh, so that we would hear the special, Aryan, rolling laugh. This is Ariel! On the one hand he is happy, talking, laughing, raving and taking the whole environment with him, and on the other hand a quiet friend, attentive, advising, thinking. Many friends said Ariel gave everyone the feeling that they were his best friends … Ariel invested in friends like everyone usually invests only in his best friend, so the feeling in each of us is real. “Fanny, friend:” Ariel, thank you A wonderful time, a dream that you fulfilled for me, everything you could teach me without being aware of it at all. Your silence, and the peace you left after your death, will be with me forever. “Yifat, friend:” I feel like I lost a brother. And you were really like that, maybe more. You were just a friend. “Ariel Sharon’s parents wrote to remember:” A year has passed, the sun has set and the light has gone out / the sun has gone out, the sun has gone down, A year of longing and affection / We lack the smile and the special speech / We lack the hug and the handshake / You were in society / Abundant and always willing to help / You loved life so much / But you fell young martyrdom / Despite the loss we will continue to live for you too. / And we pray to God to lift your soul. “
