He played soccer and basketball and completed a training course in sports. For his excellence in sports he won many prizes. Daniel was drafted into the IDF in August 1973. He completed his basic training successfully and was about to be assigned to one of the supply units, and Daniel decided to marry his friend for more than a year and then wanted to serve as close as possible to his home in Haifa. 1974 (July 29, 1974) Daniel fell in the line of duty in northern Israel. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. Survived by his parents and six brothers and sisters. His family commemorated him in an annual football tournament, at the end of which a trophy trophy is awarded to the winning team.
