Son of Israel and Chaya. He was born on March 24, 1947, in Wroclaw, Poland, where he began his elementary studies there and after third grade his parents emigrated to Israel in 1957. They were Holocaust survivors and settled in Ashkelon for the first time. Shimon was first sent to the “Alumim” institution in Kfar Saba, where he studied until the eighth grade, after which he studied electrical engineering at the ORT school in Jaffa and was drafted into the army in August 1966. He was a dedicated, loyal and loyal soldier. But he was still in compulsory service when he fell on duty on the 23rd of Adar 5738 (23.3.1968) in the Golan Heights. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
