Raskin, Yair

Son of Hava and Ze’ev, was born in 1931 in Tel Aviv. He lived in Nahalat Yitzhak and studied at the parallel school in the Borochov neighborhood. After graduating from the school he learned craftsmanship and became a mechanic. He was a member of “Noar HaOved” in Ramat Gan and in the local Hapoel branch. When he joined the army he was still a student. Yair lost his life in a road accident near the Haargaz factory on July 26, 1948. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery at Nahalat Yitzhak.
