Raphaelovich, David


Son of Shlomo and Dina; From a family of Rabbis of Torah. He was born on June 13, 1919 in Feinitz, Poland. He studied seven years in Yeshivah and his parents’ desire was that David would be a rabbi in Israel. He was cheerful by nature, although his five brothers had been killed by the Nazis. He was a soldier in the Red Army and was not long after he immigrated to Israel in 1948 when he was drafted into the IDF and was carrying a joke notebook with him, which always accompanied him on his way to reserve duty in order to benefit his comrades. (22.7.1962) and was put to rest at the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul. He left a wife.
