Ben Paula and Yishai. He was born in Tirat Hacarmel on the 17th of Tevet 5705 (5.1.1980), his mother’s birthday. A beautiful younger brother, Shelly, Frida, Ilana and Mordi. A handsome, charming boy, with an attractive smile and smiling eyes. Chaim grew up and was educated in his birthplace. He attended the Efraim Zemach State Religious Primary School and completed his high school studies with honors at the Ariel High School. Following his father’s death, when Chaim was nine years old, Haim took responsibility and showed concern for his mother and for the needs of the house. His mother was the closest and most important person in his life, and he was glad to surprise her and make her smile. Chaim was a wonderful brother and a loving uncle who helped his nieces prepare lessons, play with them and pamper them with gifts. Haim dealt in many fields of sport: swimming, football, basketball and soccer, branches that won many medals and medals. A joyous boy, who loved to help, cared for everyone, and showed great care. My friend and lover, always surrounded by friends he used to spend. Haim enlisted in the IDF in July 1999. During his service in the army, Haim began to plan for the future and to take an interest in continuing his studies at the university. His 20th birthday, on the 3rd of Cheshvan 5761 (November 3, 2000), he was killed in a road accident. He was laid to rest at the military cemetery in Haifa. Survived by his mother and five brothers and sisters. His sister, Ilana, writes: “To the son, to the brother, to David, to the grandson and to the best friend in the world / you were the rope that connects all of them.
