Ramler, Eitan


Son of Attia and Carmel. He was born on October 10, 1955 in Tel Aviv. Eitan attended the “Hankin” elementary school in Holon and continued his studies at the “ORT” school in his city. From an early age, Eitan was interested in aviation and airplanes and built models according to the charts in the IAF magazine. He could also identify planes by the sound of their engines. Eitan was a member of the Hanoar Haoved movement. At the end of July 1973, he enlisted in the IDF as part of the Nahal Brigade, which was intended for Kibbutz Re’im in the Negev. It was natural that Eitan, who loved airplanes so much, would go to flight tests and pass them. In March 1975, he completed a pilot course and was stationed at the Etzel base at Etzion. He was later transferred to Tel Nof and continued his advance in the army. Eitan was loved by those around him and his cheerfulness inspired an atmosphere of joy and mystery. In September 1978 he married his girlfriend Hagit and their house became a favorite meeting place for their friends. In April 1983, their daughter Mor was born. On Independence Day, Eitan flew one of the eight aircraft that participated in the aerobatic show. His advance in the corps was swift. Eitan stood out in good interpersonal relations and the many friends he had bought himself. He was very involved with the life of the squadron and its events. In April 1984, he decided to leave the Air Force, but to remain in the aviation field, and he established a company for advanced means of instruction and guidance, but he did not abandon his love for the plane and his intention was to develop a school for flying on the Golan coast on October 18, 1984 ), Was killed at the age of 29. He was buried at the military cemetery in Holon, leaving behind a wife, daughter, parents, brother and sister, and his son Shai was born after his fall
