Rahamim, Zadka

Born in 1914 in Turkey and in 1940 immigrated with his parents to Eretz Israel. Zadka was assigned to guard duty in the Western Galilee, where he contracted meningitis. He was hospitalized at the government hospital in Haifa and three days later, on the 18th of Av, 5708 (August 23, 1948), died in the hospital. Zadka was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa. He left behind a wife, Margalit, and two children.
