Radziminski, Yona
Son of Rachel and Meir, was born in 1909 in the city of Taloszcz, in the district of Warsaw, Poland. In 1939 he immigrated to Israel, settled in Holon and continued to work for the Zionist youth movement. He married and the couple had a son. For several years his financial situation was difficult. He was a member of the Kiryati Brigade, fulfilling his duties with dedication and responsibility. In his post at the entrance to Holon, he was hit by a sniper bullet and 30 hours later, on the 28th of Adar I 5708 (March 9, 1948), died of his wounds at the hospital and was laid to rest in the Nachlat Yitzhak military cemetery.
