Rachlin, Amikam


Son of Shimon and Tanya. He was born on March 13, 1934 in Tel Aviv. He graduated from the Kadouri Agricultural School and worked in agriculture. There was a connection in Moshav Batzron, where his parents had an agricultural farm. He was drafted into the IDF in June 1951. During his service in the IDF, he underwent an officers’ course and a parachuting course. He died in combat in the south of the country on the 9th of Tammuz 5714 (10.7.1954) and was brought to eternal rest in Moshav Batzron After his death he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant The story of his life in the name of “Kissufim boy” was written by Uriel Ofek, Chick, his memory was mentioned in Uri Milstein’s book “Wars of the Paratroopers”
