Rachik, Aryeh
Son of Sarah and Abraham, was born in Leipzig, Germany, on February 4, 1926. He spent three years there in elementary school (two years during the Nazi regime) until his family immigrated to Palestine in August 1935, The parents settled in Ramatayim, where Aryeh graduated from elementary school and grew up as a Hebrew farmer, who worked in the field for two years, and in the meantime the Second World War reached its brink and he joined the Border Police as a member of the Haganah. “H. Aryeh participated in the occupation of Brayer and was recently among the convoys of convoys in the Negev. Aryeh was seriously injured, was immediately taken to the local hospital, tortured a few hours later and died. He was laid to rest at the cemetery in Ramatayim.
