Rachel, Mari

Son of Abdallah and Shatiya. He was born in 1936 in the Land of Israel in the Bedouin tribe of El Haib (the Roman Prush) in the Beit Netofa Valley. As a child, he helped the family as a shepherd and worked in this work until he joined the army at the end of 1967. After five months of service, on April 8, 1968, he fell on a mine. He left a wife and five children. The next day he was laid to rest in the cemetery in his village
