Rachamim, Moses

Son of Salmon and Nazima. He was born in 1950 in Baghdad, Iraq, and immigrated with his family to Israel in 1951. Moshe grew up in Or Yehuda and completed his studies at the “Shivat Tzion” elementary school. From childhood, his dream to be both a driver and a warrior, was fulfilled. For a year and seven months, he was an ammunition carrier to the front lines of the Far South and did not sleep for days and nights. On Wednesday, 21.5.1969, he died while performing his military service, and was brought to rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul.
