Rabinowitz, Zvi-Meir
Son of Yosef and Chaya. He was born on 21 June 1941 in Petah Tikva. He was a grandson and grandson of a family of Torah giants and rabbis. He attended elementary school (“She’erit Yisrael”) in Petach Tikvah and later studied high school at the “Noam” Midrasha in Pardes Hanna. He belonged to the Hapoel Hamizrachi movement and was a member of the “Nehalim” nucleus (of Bnei Akiva) in the Tirat Zvi farm. On the one hand, there was a great deal of joy on the one hand and, on the other hand, peace of mind that attests to thoughts. He studied Bible and Talmud studies and was involved in writing essays on Judaism and Jewish Thought, and was drafted into the IDF in January 1960 as part of the Nahal Brigade and spent all his difficult periods of service – from basic training to parachuting and advanced training. (“Menucha”) and Torah (“inheritance”), because he was able to merge these two concepts and realize them in their entirety, and he loved the life of the group and they were close to his Lev and devoted himself to every work and action imposed on him, but after The day of Amal was devoted entirely to his second occupation of Torah study, and his signs should be recognized even in his letters to his brothers, which dealt with Talmudic issues and Torah novellae. On 7 March 1962, he fell in the line of duty and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery on Mount Herzl in Jerusalem.
