Rabinowitz, David

David, son of Ruby and Moshe Rabinowitz, was born in 1967 in Kiryat Shmona and at the age of two, moved to Kiryat Bialik. At the age of eighteen, David enlisted in the Israel Air Force and served in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. He began his service as a patrolman in Jaffa, and in 1998 David moved to serve at the Matneh junction at the Beit Dagan junction. In 2001, he moved to serve in the Shai District of the Ariel police station, where he lived, and in 1993 David married. On March 15, 2009, on a routine ride on Route 90, A terrorist, or several terrorists, staged a car bomb in Gilgal, and when the police stopped to help them, they opened fire at them from very close range. David was killed on the spot. He was laid to rest in the military cemetery in Haifa.
