Rabin, Daniel (“Danny”)


Son of Yaakov and Chana. He was born on October 14, 1948 in Alexandria, Egypt. When his father was born, his father was not allowed in a concentration camp in Alexandria. In 1949 he immigrated with his family to Israel. He attended the Dubnow Elementary School and graduated from the Municipal High School A – both in Tel Aviv. He was a very kind boy, loved by all, friendly and devoted to his family. After graduating from high school, he was accepted as a student at the Tel Aviv University and after his discharge from regular service, he began to study there. Danny was drafted into the IDF in August of 1966 and assigned to the Armored Corps, where he excelled as a disciplined soldier, an excellent fighter and an exemplary member of his army service on July 10, 1969. Before he completed his regular service, he fell in the Suez Canal area. World at the Kiryat Shaul Military Cemetery.
