Preyahen, Zvi (Heini)
Son of Fania and Ze’ev, was born in Breslau, Germany, and studied in a school in his hometown, where he set up a workshop for mechanics and electricity and knew the work so much that the neighbors invited him In September 1938, he immigrated to Israel, where he continued to study in the framework of workshops and in electrical mechanics (especially electric refrigeration), but he studied at Yeshivah and was sent by the Jewish Agency to a seminary for religious instructors. As an educator in the Tehiya Youth Aliyah Institute in Petah Tikva, he joined Kibbutz Yesodot near Magdiel, where he gained many friends and in 1945 joined “Defensive.” In March 1946, he was sworn in as a special policeman in the Jewish settlements police, took part in a training course in the Etzion Bloc and training in the Judean Hills, and joined the ranks of the defenders in the Alexandroni Brigade on April 23, 1948, In Kfar Sava, an enemy bullet hit him and he fell in. He was brought to eternal rest in the cemetery in Magdiel.
