Born in 1931 in Casablanca, Morocco, he studied at the Alliance elementary school, where he completed seven years of schooling and continued at the Ort vocational school in his hometown where he studied for three years in the framework of regrets. In 1958, Salomon married and continued to live with his family in Nahariya, where his children were born, and in December 1960 he enlisted in the IDF, where he worked as a metalworker. , Underwent training in infantry, but because of his age and marital status served in a reserve unit. He fought in the Six-Day War and in the Yom Kippur War. He was sent to reserve duty in December 1982. On December 19, 1982, he went on a three-day vacation with his wife and children on the Acre-Nahariya road. On the way he collided head-on with a truck in front of him. In the accident Salomon died along with his wife Rivka and two of his children, his son Moshe and his daughter Ilana. He was 51 when he died. At his family’s request, Salomon was brought to rest near his family in a civilian grave in Nahariya. He left behind two sons, a mother, five brothers and three sisters. The commander of his unit wrote about him in a letter of condolence to his sons: “I know that your family was a close and loving family, that you were together for many years and suddenly you were left alone, dealing with the bitter and difficult reality. The sadness is endless and it will accompany you all your life, but life must continue and this is the best thing that can be done for your family members who are no longer “
