Poznick, Mordechai

Mordechai, son of Ester and Shmuel z “l, was born in Poland on January 1, 1936 and immigrated to Israel as part of Youth Aliyah in 1948 together with his brothers and two sisters. He studied in the elementary schools of Kibbutz Ein Harod and Gvat, and graduated from the high school in Kibbutz Gvat. Mordechai was friendly, responsible and serious in his approach to life. Mordechai was a husband, father, son, a model, and during the Yom Kippur War Mordechai was drafted and served as an officer Was killed in a combat unit in southern Sinai until his fall, when he fell in the line of duty on 24 January 1974 and was brought to eternal rest in the military cemetery in Kiryat Shaul, leaving a wife, Rachel, And Yael.
